Itinerary

Day 1

07:30 AM Reporting Khulna Meet & greet with tour representative cum coordinator at the Khulna Jailkhana Ghat.

07:30 AM Tour starts The ship will depart from Jailkhana Ghat.

07:30 AM Breakfast Breakfast will be served on the ship (see description for menu). Cruising through the river while having breakfast will be a very calming experience giving travelers the thrill to kick start a journey towards the world’s largest mangrove forest, the Sundarbans.

01:30 PM Lunch Lunch will be served on the ship between 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm (see description for menu) while still cruising through the river. Travelers will see the faraway view of the shore slowly turn greener, with taller and denser trees along the way.

02:00 PM Harbaria Eco Tourism Reach Harbaria Eco-Tourism center in the late afternoon. Hiking in the Harbaria forest area to see wildlife and forest and have the first experience of Sundarbans Mangrove Forest.

06:00 PM Kochikhali overnight stay Back to the boat and immediately boat will start cruising for Kochikhali. Reach Kochikhali at night and overnight stay on the ship. Lunch and dinner will be served on the ship.

Day 2

08:00 AM Breakfast  Kochikhali Cruising through the forest while having breakfast is a unique experience preparing the travelers for a small hike for the travelers around the forest with a tour guide.

09:00 AM Explore Dimerchor After breakfast, we will visit Dimerchor sea beach. We will offer some events at the sea beach.

11:00 AM Explore Kotka Return to the ship and start for Kotka. We will go through a small river where you will be able to feel Sundarban from a close distance. Lunch will be served on the way.

01:30 PM Lunch Lunch will be served on board (see description for menu), while travelers go deeper into the mangrove forest cruising through the canal. In the evening, most of the wild animals come near the banks of the canal to drink water. If travelers are lucky they can easily watch lots of deer, monkeys, snakes, crocodiles, and wild birds roaming around in their natural habitat.

03:30 AM Chadpai forest station Following the completion of the boarding, the boat will begin its journey to the south. After a few hours of cruising, the boat will make a stop at a forest station to complete formalities and to pick up armed forest guards to stay onboard. Your Sundarbans journey has begun in the world's largest mangrove forest.

09:00 PM Dinner Dinner will be served on board. Experience the eerie beauty of the forest at night while cruising through the forest, the silence of the forest gives a more thrilling experience, especially at night.

Day 3

08:00 AM Breakfast Get up early in the morning and have a well-balanced breakfast. The final morning in the Sundarbans will be spent exploring the waterways and taking in the enigmatic beauty of the deep mangrove jungle. After breakfast, disembark from the ship and board the for a final exploration of the forest through little creeks and canals.

12:00 PM Karamjal Wildlife Rescue Center The boat will head towards to Karamjal Wildlife Rescue Center is one of the wonderful visiting places in Sundarbans. We shall also visit the crocodile farm and deer-breeding center with the opportunity to spot basking crocodiles, deer, lizards, wild boar, and lots of birds,

11:00 AM Return Journey to Khulna Get on the mother ship, start cruising towards Khulna, watch the forest fade away on the back as the city landscape forms in the faraway shores.

01:30 PM Lunch Lunch will be served on the ship (see description for menu) while the ship keeps sailing towards Khulna city, on the Rupsha River.

07:00 AM Dinner Dinner will be served on the ship.

09:00 PM Drop-off at Khulna Arrive at Khulna City and get off the ship.

  4. The tour operator will responsible for the operation of the tours and excursions as mentioned under the normal situation. So, for personal accident, sickness, loss of baggage during the tour, delay or cancellation of air flight, any political problem resulting in an unusual situation to conduct a tour, etc. we shall not be directly responsible. While the tour operator will responsible for extending all possible assistance in overcoming those problems, but the guest must pay any extra cost incurred due to these problems.

Conservation of Resources: Please use water and electricity efficiently, considering the limited resources available during the cruise.

Timely Meals: To ensure smooth operations, kindly adhere to meal timings.

Child Supervision: Keep a watchful eye on your children to ensure their safety and enjoyment.

Valuables Protection: Take necessary precautions to safeguard your valuables during the journey.

Liability Notice: Understand that Everest Tours or the tour operator will not be held responsible for accidents, theft, loss, or damages. Travelers are encouraged to take necessary precautions.

Booking Changes: If you need to change your booking date or cancel, it's imperative to inform the tour operator in advance.

Appropriate Attire: Appropriate for jungle-friendly attire, avoiding bright colors that might disturb the natural environment.

Minimize Scents: Avoid using perfumes while in the jungle, as scents can imitate wildlife and disrupt their behavior.

Respecting the Reserve: Recognize that the Sundarbans is a reserved forest without human habitation. In unforeseen circumstances, remain calm and follow the guide's instructions to manage the situation effectively.

Cancellation

  • To cancel any tour, an email has to be sent to everesttoursbd@gmail.com mentioning the tour booking ID and details about the cancellation.
  • Travelers are responsible for notifying Everest Tours of any cancellations as soon as possible.
  • The email acts as the final application for cancellation. Phone calls to Everest Tours hotline or contacting any team member directly will not be considered as cancellation requests.
  • The time of sending the email will be considered as the time of cancellation.
  • In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as acts of God, natural disasters, or mandatory government closures, Everest Tours may offer alternative dates for the tour or a full refund, at Everest Tours discretion.
  • If a tour is cancelled by the tour operator due to unforeseen circumstances, travelers will be entitled to a full refund of the tour fee.
  • This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Please refer to the website or booking confirmation voucher/invoice for the most up-to-date information.
  • Tours booked for blackout dates, government holidays, and festival periods are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
  • This cancellation policy may not be applicable in case of national emergency/ lockdown/ political unrest/ natural disaster etc.
  • This policy is applicable to all tour cancellations, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Refund

  • 80% of the fees will be refunded if the booking is canceled more than Thirty-Five (35) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
  • 50% of the fees will be refunded if the booking is canceled within Twenty-Eight (28) to Thirty-Five (35) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
  • 30% of the tour fee will be refunded if the booking is canceled within Twenty-One (21) to Twenty-Eight (28) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
  • Refund will not be provided if the tour is cancelled less than Twenty-One (21) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
  • Convenience fees and insurance fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the paid amount.
  • All refunds will be processed within five (5) working days.

Child Policy

  • No fee will be needed for children below the age of three(3). No separate seat will be provided in case of transportation and accommodation.
  • 5,500 BDT must be paid for any child between the age of three (3) and eight (8) years old. Food will be provided but No separate seat will be provided in case of transportation and accommodation. Full amount of money must be paid to avail bed/seat for any child between the age of three (3) and eight (8) years old.
  • Full amount of money must be paid for anyone above six (6) years old.
